Carers & Companions is also a recruitment agency and currently we have vetted Carers on our books who are ready for direct employment in your household. Rest assured, we personally complete face to face interviews of all candidates and conduct comprehensive employment checks including police check, verifying education credentials and thorough reference checks and only short-list those with proven experience working in aged care and who are empathetic and of good character.
We can provide you with several vetted and available Carers for you or your family to interview, for direct employment placement within your household.
Whether you are looking to engage a Carer on an hourly basis or Live-In Care arrangement (24 hours a day), we can assist in finding you the most suitable Carer to meet your personal care and personality needs.
An agency placement fee will apply for this direct placement service and in addition, if you require Carers and Companions to assist you with administration, contracts, rostering, and payroll or any other administrative functions this can be included and is negotiable on a fee for service basis.

Respite and back-filling of your placement Carer
You can still turn to us for short-term or long-term Carers if your personal Carers become unavailable, whether sick or wish to take a short holiday; we would be happy to back-fill those shifts for them so your continuity of care can be seamless.

If you prefer not to employ a Carer directly and choose to use our Agency staff, under our direct employment; we would be pleased to assist also.
